Well, it sure does seem that there are many improvements to our aging game. Hopefully it will be enough to keep them afloat.

Yeh the thing that is keeping me away these days is the whole not being able to casually fire it up and lurk on the 2nd monitor. Was pretty much a default for me and I miss it (plus the GPU kept me warm in winter!).

I've not entirely given up on win7 yet but 90% of me thinks it's highly unlikely I'll ever get it running again. The skills and knowledge required are likely too much for me to grasp and even if I did find a fix, likely they'd break it in the next patch each time anyhow.

At some point I'll switch to using my "new" PC which my friend put linux on but I need to get round to it/feel the urg. At the moment it's on top of a wardrobe!
